I have been on a deep spiritual path for more than thirty years, encompassing breathwork, shamanism, meditation, psychology, Kundalini and non-duality. He now offers Activation sessions to individuals and groups, combining breathwork, energy work and music to create a potent environment for profound healing and growth.
I grew up in South Wales as part of a Quaker family, so was exposed to broader ideas of the spiritual from an early age. Initially exploring shamanism and psychedelics, I travelled widely before returning to Britain to study sculpture. It was soon after this that I experienced my first Holotropic Breathwork, at the age of 21, also undergoing a spontaneous Kundalini Awakening during this first session. My spiritual journey accelerated from that point and I continued to practice Holotropic Breathwork regularly, also working with Amerta Movement Meditation, working with Suprapto Suryodarmo and Mala Sikka.
After suffering a back injury - often associated with Kundalini Activation - I shifted my studies to contemporary art, also visiting India, spending the majority of my time there at Sathya Sai Baba's ashram, receiving darshan twice daily. During this time I also studied energetic healing, and practiced Vipassana and other meditations, though I found spontaneous, freeform meditation to be most effective. After returning again to India and Sai Baba's ashram, I went on to visit Guru Subraminium's Skanda Vale ashram in West Wales multiple times, benefiting from the multiple pujas practiced there.
After concluding my studies, I moved to London, thrusting myself into the world of contemporary and performance art, later going on to complete an MA in fine art. While my spiritual journey continued during this time, it took a more Western route, focussing on periods of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, along with several courses focussing on self development and leadership. In the latter part of this period, my professional career evolved to include project management and operations management, and I also developed and ran several entrepreneurial projects.
While my Kundalini process continued throughout this period, I had shifted away from practicing breathwork, and towards the end of this period I felt drawn back to focus on the practice, also sensing that I was now ready to offer what I had learned to others. Training in Conscious Connected Breathwork with InBreath and Seven Directions, I also trained as a Kundalini Activation facilitator. These two fields offered the perfect support for the practice that I was preparing to offer, which is also informed by my wider spiritual journey. My more recent personal work, alongside my continuing Kundalini process and breathwork practice, includes working with Shakti Catarina Maggi, an Advaita Vedanta or Non-Duality teacher.
Combining my understanding of energy and breath, I now offer what I call 'activations' - environments for people to experience radical shifts and transformations. I also offer one-to-one spiritual guidance, as well as other types of consultation.
I truly believe in - and have considerable experience of - the power of allowing ones body and soul to lead the way when it comes to healing. In my sessions I very much encourage participants to find their own breathing patterns - also offering and supporting patterns if someone is new or needs that - but I really find that if you go with what your body brings, then your journey will be all the more YOUR journey and so far deeper for it.
